The 2nd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICon EEI 2018) took place in Batam, Indonesia on 16-17 October 2018. The conference was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Riau, Indonesia. To guarantee the quality of the papers, ICon EEI 2018 was technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Indonesia Section and the IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter.
The IEEE Latin-American Conference on Communications (LATINCOM) reached a milestone last year as it completed its first decade of existence. The City of Guadalajara, in the Mexican State of Jalisco, had the privilege of hosting the conference for such a symbolic occasion.
