The fourth edition of Teleweek 2026 was held on April 23rd at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (UPS) in Quito, Ecuador. The event was organized by the IEEE ComSoc Student Branch Chapter at UPS and IEEE ComSoc Ecuador, bringing together academia and students for a dynamic, hands-on experience focused on exploring and analyzing the radioelectric spectrum using modern tools such as Software-Defined Radio (SDR).
Spring 2026 marked a highly active season for the IEEE Communications Society community in France, with two landmark events achieved through the joint efforts of the IEEE ComSoc France Chapter and the IEEE ComSoc Student Chapter at Université Paris-Saclay. The chapter demonstrated exceptional commitment to delivering events that are technically rigorous, professionally enriching, and community-building, bringing together volunteers, researchers, students, and industry professionals from across France and beyond.
The 32nd edition of the IEEE International Symposium on Local and Metropolitan Area Networks (LANMAN) was held in Tempe, Arizona, USA, on June 15 – 16, 2026. The symposium was hosted in the Memorial Union of Arizona State University at Tempe, Arizona, bringing together researchers, industry professionals, and academics from around the world to discuss the latest advances in local and metropolitan area networking. The venue for IEEE LANMAN 2026 was strategically selected to be close to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and downtown, for people who wanted to see the city.
